That Final Fantasy was awesome, but he shouldn't have a drummer.
Didn't care much for the others, Belle and Sebastian should not mess with the Pixies, they can't compete and just piss me off.

I like the second Final Fantasy. Mariah Carey makes me nauseus in any shape or form. I agree with Randy. Don't fuck with the Pixies.

Hi, Canowine, thanks for stopping by my place (my main blog, which I don't keep in my profile, sorry). I'm guessing you found me via darth or Arethusa. :)
Quite a cool music-related blog you have here. I scrolled back a bit and downloaded Beck covering the Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realize?'. Very nice.

I'll have to come back when I have more time and check out more of your stuff. There's so much info packed in here it's hard to take it in all at once!

I'm curious to hear the B&S Pixies cover. Hmmm...

Mariah Carey rubbed up against me with her boobs in March.

rc666 - you have no idea how excited I was to find the FF songs.

that girl - That song is about Win and Regine Butler of the Arcade Fire. About the Mariah cover...the first time I listened to it, I thought he was covering Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love," since Talking Heads seem to be an influence for him. But the words were obviously different...it took me about 10 listens before I figured it out.

mary - You're welcome, and thank you! I got there through a comment you left on darth's "tigerlily hands me the book" post. I dig your stuff.

phoenix - You may now pass into the afterlife a happy man. Self-actualization is so overrated. The basic animal needs is where it's at.

wtf...is that really B&S...that was really a bad attempt at a cover on there part...love the crowd screaming out the pixies song titles and they were like abuuuuuuuuh?
