LOST - Best Show, Best Score!

LOST is my favorite show on television right now. Most people talk about the mystery of the show, but for me it's the heart and the soul that really does it. The stories are about what it is to be a human being. For every triumph there will be loss. For every love there will be love lost. Courage and fear will stand right next to each other. Yes, the series has a massive mystery and mythology that's absolutely fascinating but at the base of it all there is a beautiful humanity. Over the span of last season it also had a score that slowly built themes and nuances which now are one of my favorite parts of the show. The score is done by Michael Giacchino who was responsible for the fantastic score for last year's The Incredibles. Giacchino does fright and tension and then turns around and gives you beauty and harmony all in the span of an hour. Here are a couple of tracks I found at one of the numerous Lost fansites, The Hatch. Enjoy!
