Prince = P-Funk = Sly And The Family Stone....I See A Natural Progression

Let's take it back even further, all the way back to the early '70s. I grew up in Hawaii as did my Father before me and he said that in the late '60s and early '70s every band worth a salt ended up playing the Blaisdell. He saw Hendrix, The Stones, The Doors, Joplin....the list is sick! Anywho, out of all the bands he saw he states that Sly And The Family Stone rocked harder and funked filthier than anyone!! So here's a track for you to savor, enjoy the bass line that kicks it off!!
